About the WFT 5k - Where Futures Thrive
The race takes place in Case Eagle Park, and the route covers a standard road distance on park terrain. The event raises money for local youth sports, arts, and leadership programs, with team competition built in: the group that signs up the most runners directs a donation to a youth organization of their choosing. Age group awards go deep.
Packet pickup opens the morning of the race at the park, well before the start, and same-day registration is available during that same window.

The WFT 5k - Where Futures Thrive has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
