About the Westerwood 5K

The course winds through the Westerwood neighborhood, passing a mural of a Bollywood actress, Guilford County's oldest house, a greenway, and a roundabout before finishing at a historic home that holds a spot on the federal historic preservation registry. There are music and humorous displays along the way, and the route has enough variety to keep you looking around.

The evening before, Fleet Feet on Lawndale Drive hosts packet pickup. On race day, start and finish are at the Double Oaks house on North Mendenhall Street, with parking available across the street in a church lot. Chili, bread, and drinks are served at the post-race gathering.
