About the West Side Donut Dash
The course runs through Blandford Nature Center, a nature preserve on the west side of Grand Rapids. Expect natural trail surfaces rather than pavement, and the surroundings are wooded and quiet. There is a separate shorter route for kids alongside the main trail run, so families tend to make a morning of it.
Post-race, there are donuts at the finish, along with water and apple cider. It has the feel of a neighborhood gathering more than a large road race, and the nature center setting keeps things unhurried even after the clock stops.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
