About the Wendelville Fire Company 29th Annual Harvest Moon Run
The course runs along the Erie Canal, shaded by trees overhead and flat underfoot. It has the feel of a towpath race, where the surface is consistent and the scenery does not change much, which lets you settle into a rhythm early. There is also a kids race and a walk option on the same course.
The start is a short walk south from the parking area at the fire company hall on Campbell Boulevard, over a bridge to the start line. Packet pickup runs the evening before at the hall, with race-morning pickup opening a couple of hours before the gun. Food and door prizes follow at the finish.
