About the Wendell 5K & 10K

The race runs through downtown Wendell, so there is historic streetscape throughout rather than a park loop or trail. Both distance options share the same general area, keeping the course familiar and spectator-friendly. The race serves as the opening event for a stretch of community programming, so there is a bit of ceremony to the morning beyond the running itself.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup available at the start area. The finish brings you back into the heart of downtown, where friends and family tend to gather.
