The course starts at an elementary school on Great Neck Road. It is a timed road race, and the proceeds go toward student programs at the high school. On race day, the organizers collect food donations for a local pantry, so bringing a few shelf-stable items is something to think about before you head out the door.
Bib pickup opens well before the start on race morning, so there is no need to arrive at the last minute.
