The race runs through Warriors Path State Park, a wooded park on the edge of Kingsport. The trails and park roads there roll with the terrain rather than flatten it, so expect some give and take in elevation. The State of Franklin Track Club puts it on as part of a regional race series, so familiar faces show up if you have run others in the circuit.
