About the WALK, WIGGLE, WAG & 5K RUN FOR THE CAPE CORAL ANIMAL SHELTER

The course splits into two options: a timed run that loops through the neighborhood around the shelter, and a shorter fun walk that stays on the shelter property. Dogs are welcome on leashes, and there is a competitive category specifically for human-and-dog running teams, with prize baskets for the top finishers among them.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, with check-in also available on race morning at the same address. Post-race, the shelter grounds host music, food, and a vendor marketplace through midday.
