About the Walk the Circle 5K
The course runs along the trails of Oyster Creek Park in Sugar Land, following a path that winds through park scenery. The terrain is trail-style but accessible, and the route draws a mix of runners and walkers supporting diabetes awareness and medical device access for underserved families.
After finishing, the park fills out with food vendors, health and educational booths, and diabetes resource organizations. It is worth staying for; the post-race area is part of the point of the morning.
