About the Walk Run or Roll 5K

The course runs out-and-back on campus roads, starting on one street and looping to a halfway point before returning the same way. The surroundings are a college campus with park space nearby, including a splash pad and picnic area. Aid stations are posted along the route and at the turnaround. The race raises money for local food relief.

Parking is near the campus tennis complex and at spots around the park. Restrooms are next to the splash pad by the picnic area. The race has an eighties costume theme, and there is a contest for best outfit with awards for the top looks.
