The course runs along the waterfront at Leadbetter Beach, flat and open with the ocean beside you the whole way. It is a charity walk tied to a water crisis awareness campaign, so the pace is unhurried and the mood is purposeful rather than competitive.
Parking is in the lot near the Shoreline Cafe as you pull into the beach area. The start is right at the beach, so there is no hunting around once you arrive.
