About the Walk for Paws
The route runs through Pleasant Hill City Hall Park, a grassy civic space that keeps the walk shaded and manageable. Dogs are welcome on leash, and the crowd tends to be more pets and their people than serious runners. After the walk, sponsor booths, a pup costume contest, and a station serving treats for dogs fill out the morning.
The event wraps up well before noon, so parking at the park and getting settled early is worth it. There is no packet pickup the night before; everything happens on-site the morning of the walk.
