About the Walk By Faith Breast Cancer Walk for Life
This is a breast cancer awareness walk in Bowie, not a timed race. The pace is entirely your own, and the event is built around the people participating rather than the course itself. A tribute wall lets you leave a name or message for someone, and a vendor area has health screenings and information available alongside it.
There is a stretch and snack area for warming up and cooling down, and a kids' zone with face painting and activities. Breast cancer survivors can submit information ahead of time so the event can recognize them on the day.
