About the VIVA Los Muertos 5K Glow Run
This is an evening glow run timed around Día de los Muertos, so the atmosphere leans heavily into the holiday. Runners come in costume, the course is lit up, and the whole thing feels more like a moving party than a road race. The route is a standard out-and-back distance, chip-timed, with a costume contest adding something to run toward beyond the finish line.
The race flows directly into VIVA Taco Fest, which is the real draw for a lot of people who show up. There is live music, tacos, and a full celebration waiting at the end, so most people stick around well after they cross the finish.
