About the Viva Color Fun Run
The route starts and finishes at the American Italian Club, and the whole point is the color. Volunteers along the course throw powdered dye at participants as they pass, so everyone who crosses the finish line looks completely different from when they started. The powder is cornstarch-based and washes off with soap and water. After the run, there is a dance party, food, and more color throws.
Check-in happens the morning of the run, before a start-line dance party gets things going. Parking is close to the start, and volunteers direct cars into designated lots. Free street parking is also available nearby. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome on the course; dogs are not.
