About the Violence Free Community Run
The course runs paved downtown streets in a multi-loop layout, so you pass familiar corners more than once. Both distance options are wheelchair accessible, and the whole thing stays on road the entire way. The start and finish are at the Park Strip on Main Street Loop.
Street parking is not available on race day; runners park at a nearby mall instead. Check-in opens on the morning of the race at the Park Strip, and there is a group stretch and warm-up in the park shortly before the start.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Violence Free Community Run has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
