About the Vineyard Stomp 5K - Wise Villa Winery & Restaurant
The course runs through an actual working vineyard, with rows of grapevines on either side for most of the route. The terrain is what you'd expect from farm land, not a groomed trail or a road, so expect uneven ground underfoot. Water is available along the way, though runners chasing a fast time may want to carry their own.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at the winery itself, which also gives you a chance to browse bottles while you are there. The start area is on the winery grounds, so there is no hunting for a separate venue on race morning.
