The course runs through the vineyard at Windrow Estate Winery, so the scenery is rows of grapevines rather than pavement or park paths. It is a working winery property, which gives the route a texture you do not get at a road race. Self-serve water stations are spaced out along the way, so faster runners who skip stops may want to carry their own hydration.
