About the Ville to Ville Coastal Relay
This is a team relay that covers the South Carolina Lowcountry in a single day, starting in Summerville and finishing in Mount Pleasant. The route passes through Charleston, out to barrier islands, and across marshland, ending with a view of the Cooper River at Ferry Wharf. Teams carry their own support vehicle between transition points, so the experience is as much a road trip as a race.
Packet pickup and a welcome reception are held the evening before at Holy City Brewing in North Charleston. On race day, waves of teams depart from Summerville starting in the early morning hours. The finish area has live music, food, and beer. All participants must be at least of legal drinking age to enter.
