About the Viking Dash - Cape Fear

The course runs through Brunswick Nature Park on a mix of wide dirt logging roads and narrow single-track trail. Roots are everywhere on the single-track sections, so you spend a lot of time watching your feet. The Gator Trail section is the most technical part, with small sudden drops and rises that catch you off guard if you are not paying attention.

Packet pickup happens race morning at the park, and online registration stays open until shortly before the gun. Both distance options start on the logging road before peeling off onto the trail, so the opening stretch gives you a moment to find your footing before things get rooty.
