About the Vienna Turkey Trot 5K/10K and Fun Run

The Vienna Turkey Trot starts and finishes at the local volunteer fire department, and the high school band plays on the course, so there is actual live music as you run. Costumes are encouraged, and enough people show up in turkey gear that it reads as a genuine pre-Thanksgiving tradition. Snacks and refreshments are out at the finish.

Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a local running store on Maple Avenue, which is the easier option. Race-morning pickup happens at the fire station itself, and arriving well ahead of the start is worth it for parking and walking time.
