About the Vibha Raleigh Dream Mile (10K, 5K, 1 Mile)
The course runs through Cedar Fork District Park, looping around Field 5 on flat, open ground. The longer distances repeat the same loop, so you get familiar with the terrain as you go. The race is tied to a fundraising mission for children's education, and that purpose shapes the morning's atmosphere more than competition does. Post-race, there are refreshments and an awards ceremony.
Check-in opens before the start, so arriving with time to spare helps. Parking is first-come, first-served near the adjacent fields. The event runs rain or shine. A virtual option is also available for those who cannot make it in person, completed on a course of your choosing within a window around race day and submitted through an app.
