About the Vibha Bay Area Dream Mile 2026
The course is flat, with very little elevation change throughout. It runs through a park setting, so the surroundings are open rather than urban. The race is organized by volunteers and raises money for child development causes in the US and abroad, which gives the morning a purposeful feel without making it feel like a charity walk.
Packet pickup runs at local running stores the two days before the race, which is worth doing to avoid the morning rush. Parking at the event site costs a small fee, purchasable when you pick up your bib. Give yourself extra time on arrival to get from the lot to the start line before your distance goes off.
