About the Veterans Race - Buffalo, NY
The course runs through Buffalo near the Naval Park, which gives the surroundings a fitting backdrop for a race built around military service. Awards go out by age group, with separate categories for veterans and civilians, so the two communities race alongside each other but are recognized distinctly at the end.
Packet pickup is the evening before at Southern Tier Brewing, which also hosts the post-race party. Race-day pickup is not offered, so arriving the night before is the only way to get your bib. The brewery setting means there is something worth staying for after you finish.
