About the Veteran's Day 5K
The course starts at the American Legion post, heads north through a residential neighborhood, and loops back to where you began. It is mostly flat with a few hills scattered through, nothing that will stop you, but enough to keep it honest. Before the start, the Honor Guard leads a Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem.
Packet pickup happens at the legion on race morning before the start. After you finish, the post opens up with chili and desserts, and there is a silent auction and a raffle running through the morning.
