About the VERRADO TURKEY TROT
The course runs through the Verrado neighborhood, mixing streets with trail sections, so the surface changes underfoot as you go. It is a Thanksgiving morning race, and the crowd skews heavily toward families doing something together before the meal. The start and finish are at a central gathering spot on the main drag of the community.
Packet pickup happens at a local business a few days before the race, with a couple of windows spread across the days leading up to Thanksgiving. Race-morning pickup is available but tightly limited, so the organizers push hard for everyone to collect packets beforehand. No pets on the course.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The VERRADO TURKEY TROT has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
