About the Venecia's Foundation Crap Run
This one runs at night, on city streets and along the Ladiga Trail, which keeps it smooth enough for strollers. The course is mostly flat and finishes under the stars. The race honors the memory of Venecia Butler and raises money for people going through cancer treatment. Costumes are encouraged, and the crowd around the course tends to reflect that spirit.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at the Foundation, with race-day pickup opening in the early afternoon. Both parking and restrooms are on-site. Dogs are welcome on leash. Strollers are fine on the course; if you are pushing one, the organizers ask that you seed yourself toward the back of the start.
