About the Vamos Pavo Thanksgiving 5K
The Vamos Pavo 5K runs on Thanksgiving morning at Anderson Community Park, a volunteer-timed event that raises money for Bluegrass Community Action of Anderson County. The course is on a track, so the surface is consistent underfoot. Strollers can join, and finishing the full distance is optional, which makes it easy to bring the whole family out before the meal.
Restrooms are at the park. Race-morning registration is available at no cost for anyone who needs it, no card and no explanation required, which is worth knowing if you are bringing someone who decided to come along at the last minute.
