About the Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-Mile Run ®
The course runs through the internal roads of Valley Forge National Historical Park, and the terrain is hilly enough to remind you of it. You are moving through the same grounds where Washington's army wintered, and the landscape makes that feel real rather than ceremonial. Expect rolling park roads, open fields, and a route that earns its reputation.
Parking is off-site, with shuttle buses running to and from the park before and after the race. The shuttles pause while the course is active, since the route crosses the entrance road. Packet pickup happens the day before at the tourism office building near the parking area, with no race-day pickup available.
