About the Valentine's Heartbreaker Marathon & Relay

Country Park is a loop course around a lake, and it earns its name. The terrain rolls throughout, with shade covering most of the route. Because the format sends runners around the same loop repeatedly, you pass the start area often, which means your relay teammates or family can track exactly where you are and cheer at predictable spots.

Packet pickup is the day before at Fleet Feet on Lawndale Drive. Out-of-town teams can pick up race morning instead, at the pavilion near the carousel inside the park. Parking is at Jaycee Park, a short walk from the course. Teams set up tents in the park, and gear check near the pavilion covers solo runners who have no teammates to hold their things.
