About the Utah Santa Run - Utah County
The course loops around Salem Pond, which is lit up with a floating Christmas light display. Runners cross a bridge over the water as part of the loop, and those doing the longer distance go around twice, passing the same start area before finishing. The ground is flat throughout, and the whole thing takes place after dark, which makes the lights on the pond the main thing you see.
Packet pickup the evening before is at the Pond Town Christmas Market, so you can browse while you wait. On race day, park at the Salem Rec Center and walk a short distance to the pond. There is same-day pickup available at the pond before the race starts. Aid stations along the course are staffed by volunteers dressed as elves, and the theme is milk and cookies.
