About the Ultimate Runner
This is not a road race with a single start and a single finish. Runners compete across several track events and a cross country race, all in the same evening, and a combined score determines the overall result. The cross country leg comes last, leaving the track, winding through Hanes Park on foot paths and trails, crossing Peters Creek, looping around school grounds, and returning to the track.
Check-in is at the Hanes Park Track and closes before the first event starts, so arriving early matters. Bibs left unclaimed get pulled to keep scoring on track. Parking is spread around the park, with the tennis court lot and the street-side spots along Northwest Blvd being the most convenient options.
