About the UIS - BOS Turkey Trot 5K
The race starts and finishes at the Recreation and Athletic Center on the UIS campus, and registration fees go directly to the university's cross country and track program. It is a Thanksgiving-week event with a collegiate backdrop, so the start area has the feel of a campus road race more than a big-city production.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before the race at the Recreation and Athletic Center, with an early race-morning window as a backup for those who cannot make it the day prior. Both options are at the same building where the race begins, so there is no separate trip across town.

The UIS - BOS Turkey Trot 5K has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
