About the Tyler Azalea Run
The course winds through the Tyler Azalea Trails, a stretch of residential streets where the azalea bushes grow thick enough to feel like a tunnel of color in spring. The route is mostly flat through older neighborhoods, and the blooms are the whole point. Runners who come back year after year say the scenery is what brings them.
Proceeds from the race support a local nonprofit called The Children's Village, so the entry fee goes somewhere local. Beyond that, not much about parking or packet pickup has been shared, but the start area is out among the trails themselves, which means you are already in the gardens before the gun goes off.
