About the Twins Days 5k

The race starts at a school that sits directly across from the Twins Days festival grounds, so the crowd around the start line has an unmistakably festive energy even early in the morning. The course uses the school track as its launch point, and a short kids' run happens on that same track after the main race finishes.

Packet pickup is at a pavilion near the entrance to a park trail before the race begins. Light snacks and refreshments are out at the finish. The race benefits Empower Sports, a nonprofit that provides athletic programs for people with physical and cognitive disabilities.
