About the Twilight Race
The course runs through a holiday lights display at Lakemont Park, looping around the lake. Runners do a couple of laps depending on their distance, which means you pass the start area more than once. The surroundings are mostly dark except for the lights and animation along the water, so it feels more like an evening stroll through a light show than a typical road race.
Packet pickup is available the day before at the Blair Regional YMCA, with additional pickup on race morning at both the Y and at the park itself. Parking is in the lot to the left of the park or in a garage accessible through Galactic Ice. Awards go out immediately after the races, so plan to stick around if you are in contention.
