About the Twas the Night Before 5K
The course runs through Firestone Park after dark, threading through a Christmas light show with what the organizers describe as over a million lights. The start and finish are near a pavilion beside Mirror Lake, so the water reflects the display as you run. It is a genuinely unusual setting for a road race.
Packet pickup must happen before race day, with options at a running store and at a local brewery in Columbiana. No race-morning pickup is offered, so plan ahead. After the race, cookies and a DJ are inside the finish pavilion, and an after party continues at the brewery nearby.
