About the Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest 5K
The race runs through downtown Tuscaloosa and is part of a season-long series connecting several local races across the city. The course is open to walkers as well as runners, and baby joggers are permitted. Pets are not allowed on the course, though service animals are.
Free parking is available at a covered deck right by Government Plaza, so getting in and out downtown is straightforward. The race is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and has a post-race Oktoberfest theme, with beer available for those of legal drinking age.
