About the 26th Annual Turkey Trot - Portage Township YMCA

This is a Thanksgiving morning race put on by the local YMCA, with a competitive timed run alongside a free kids fun run. Proceeds go toward the YMCA's assistance programs, covering things like food, shelter, and education for families in the area. The charity tie-in is direct and local, not abstract.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the YMCA, with race-morning pickup available as well. Walkers and strollers are welcome in the main run and start shortly after the runners. Age group awards go deep, so runners at most levels have a shot at placing.
