About the Turkey Trot Midlothian 2026
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Midlothian, put on by a local fitness studio. The kids run goes first, so families with younger children get their moment before the main race starts. Runners tend to show up in holiday costumes, which sets the tone for the whole morning. The course is chip-timed.
Music plays during the event, and awards go out afterward. Wearing your best Thanksgiving outfit is very much encouraged, and the crowd skews heavily toward families out to make a morning of it before the holiday meal.
