About the 4th Annual Turkey Trot - Chasing Recovery 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
The course starts in front of the Walker County Courthouse in downtown Jasper, which gives the morning a civic, open feel. The route is a road race through the surrounding streets. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and the Thanksgiving morning timing means the crowd tends to be families out together before the holiday meal.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the courthouse, wrapping up just before the start. There is no separate pre-race pickup day, so plan to arrive with enough time to get your bib and settle in.
