About the 15th Annual Turkey Trot
This Turkey Trot is held at the Belington Wellness Center and raises money for two local causes: a food pantry and a Thanksgiving Day meal program that together feed a large portion of the surrounding community. There are a couple of distance options, one aimed at runners and a shorter fun trot, so people of most fitness levels tend to show up.
The race starts mid-morning, with race-day registration opening well before the gun. Everything is centered on the wellness center, so parking and the start line are in the same place.
