Allegan, MI
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Allegan with a costume tradition baked in. Runners tend to show up dressed for the holiday, turkey gear and all, which sets the tone before the starting gun. The event doubles as a toy and supply drive for a local Christmas giveaway program, so many people arrive with a donation in hand.
