About the Turkey Trot
The course runs out and back through the streets of Adams, winding through a handful of named streets before reaching a circle at the far end where runners turn around. The terrain is road the whole way, and the out-and-back shape means you retrace exactly what you ran, which helps if you want to pace yourself on the return.
Registration, the post-race awards, and the finish-line food and drinks all happen at the Pizza House on Hoosac Street, so the start and end of your morning are in the same spot. There are warm beverages and snacks after you finish, which is welcome for a Thanksgiving morning race.
