The Turkey Shuffle runs on trail through an estate in the Texas Hill Country, timed for the weekend after Thanksgiving when the fall colors are still out and the heat has backed off. Several distance options let you pick something comfortable or push a little harder. A short kids dash runs alongside, with the crowd brought in to cheer.

At the finish, a rally tent has snacks and refreshments. A DJ keeps things moving and calls out finishers by name. There is also a costume contest for anyone who wants to lean into the Thanksgiving theme, with a trophy going to the most creative outfit.
