The course runs through Battle Creek Regional Park on a couple of loops, mixing paved trail with cross-country ski trails. The terrain rolls throughout, with a few genuine hills that will ask something of your legs. Race day here means anything is possible weather-wise: past editions have seen both warm sun and early snow on the ground.
