About the Turkey Day 5K
The Turkey Day 5K runs on Thanksgiving morning out of Mountain Ridge High School. The course is open to runners and walkers alike, and the whole field covers the same route. With pumpkin pies going to the top finishers in each age group, the post-race scene has a holiday feel that fits the day.
Registration and packet pickup open inside the school cafeteria before the gun. Showing up without a bib is a real option: same-day registration carries no price penalty over signing up in advance.
