About the Turkey Creek 5K Trail Run

The course runs through the Turkey Creek Sanctuary, so expect natural trail terrain rather than pavement. Trees close in overhead in stretches, and the ground underfoot varies, so trail shoes are worth considering. It is a city-organized event, which tends to mean a well-staffed course and a straightforward experience from start to finish.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a running store, with a second window at the Tony Rosa Community Center on race morning before the start. Parking is available at the sanctuary itself. There is food and refreshments at the finish.
