About the Turkey Burn

The Turkey Burn runs on Thanksgiving morning at Freedom Park in Greenwood, with a kids run before the main race gets underway. A costumed turkey runs alongside the younger participants. Proceeds go to a local organization called The Refuge, so the race has a charitable purpose beyond the usual holiday tradition.

Packet pickup is available at a local running shop in Whiteland on the days leading up to the race, with a shorter window at the park on race morning for those who could not get there earlier.
