About the Turkey 2 Miler
The course wraps around a sports complex and then heads out onto a trail along the Smith River, so there is a stretch of path through riverside scenery before you loop back. Terrain is mixed, with both paved and natural surfaces. Walkers and runners share the same route, though the competitive wave and the walk are registered separately.
Packet pickup runs the day before the race at a local YMCA, with race-morning pickup available at the sports complex before the start. The start area is at the complex itself, which gives you a clear landmark and enough space to warm up before things get going.

The Turkey 2 Miler has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
